These were are words I shared on International Women’s Day, held on 8 March. It is a snippet of a spoken word poem called ‘The Father’s Pursuit’ which follows the life of a woman who is rescued from a life of rejection, pain and low self-esteem. In Jesus Christ, she is saved from a life she never thought she could escape. She now experiences peace and realises that she has a seat on the table. She is worthy. Woman, you may not feel like you are loved sometimes, but you are. 1 John 4:19 — “We love because he first loved us.”
