About
Priscilla Krahn is a poet, playwright and screenwriter from London with an interest in telling stories that are thought-provoking and convey important messages.
For theatre, Priscilla has completed Soho Theatre Writers Lab 2021-22, the Royal Court Theatre's Introduction to Playwriting Group 2022, and a week-long residency at Blue Elephant Theatre in 2023. Extracts of her work have been staged at Omnibus Theatre, Duke of York's Theatre, The Lion & Unicorn Theatre and she is an alumna of the National Youth Theatre.
With a passion to create work for screen also, Priscilla is an alumna of Seven Black Women’s Writers Programme, Elysium Entertainment’s Writer Development Programme, and was a mentee on the Victor Adebodun Foundation mentoring programme for upcoming filmmakers.
Outside of her script work, Priscilla enjoys writing poetry. Her poetry has been featured in the Royal Society of Literature’s quarterly magazine and read on BBC Radio London. Priscilla has completed the HarperCollins Author Academy for non-fiction writing.
As part of the diaspora, Priscilla is of Ghanaian descent. Her values often seep a tender tone into her writing.
